Chinese lighting designer Zheng JianWei won the award of excellence from the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) on June 4 2014. Known as Oscars in the lighting design industry, the IALD Award was held in Las Vegas, the United States.
Zheng’s design, the Wuhan Hanjie Wanda Square project, is the world’s first 3D fa?ade new media lighting system built on a large structure. Zheng is the first winner from China.
